St Francis Xavier’s College is committed to providing a high quality, broad curriculum focused on 21st Century skills and learning that will enable students to successfully meet the requirements of the Preliminary and Higher School Certificate and prepare them to transition to a range of post school options. Teachers are committed to fostering a learning environment that encourages students to be engaged in, and responsible for, their own learning.
The College has one of the largest HSC cohorts in the State and as such is able to offer a very diverse range of courses across the key learning areas of English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Creative & Performing Arts, Languages, Technology, PDHPE, Vocational Education and Training, and Life Skills.
The College is a registered authority working under the auspices of the NSW Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the Catholic Schools Office of the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese.
